Pelosi Sell Alert: 20,000 shares of Visa ($V)
Speaker Pelosi has again trimmed her Visa stake by 20,000 shares
Nancy Pelosi is back on the trading desk. This time it’s selling off another $4,000,000 of Visa stock. For those who don’t know, Visa was her first controversial stock trade dating all the way back to the IPO in 2008. Her Husband, Paul, was given a “VIP cut of the IPO” at $11/share (post split). Since then the stock has steadily increased for years, with the share price now at $210/share.

Speaker Pelosi has been trimming her Visa position over the last two years. She has now sold almost $7M in just the last six months which has the community wondering why. At first glance, it could be a number of reasons including V 0.00%↑ is priced to perfection, credit card companies get hit hard in recessions, and growth inevitably stalled.
